A celebration of some of Britain’s finest cheeses, National Treasures brings together five much-loved classics from across the country. Full of tradition, character and exceptional flavour, this is a cheeseboard that showcases just how good British cheese can be.
Inside, you’ll find the wonderfully rich and powerful Keen’s Extra Mature Cheddar, alongside Swaledale, a traditional Yorkshire cheese with a fresh, lactic character. Baron Bigod brings luxurious, creamy richness, while Colston Bassett delivers the deep, savoury and beautifully classic flavours of a truly great British blue.
Completing the collection is Gorwydd Caerphilly, with its fresh character and crumbly yet creamy texture.
Please note each cheese is cut to 200g by hand, therefore the weights listed are approximate. We work very hard to cut them as accurately as we can.

Swaledale Traditional is based on an ancient recipe developed hundreds of years ago and has similar characteristics to a farmhouse Wensleydale, a brilliant alternative, but with softer and creamier notes and more delicate less astringent flavours. Baron Bigod Brie
Weight: 200g.
Baron Bigod is an exquisite Suffolk made, bloomy, pasteurised cows milk cheese in the style of a classic Brie-de-meaux. A full-flavoured soft cheese with a nutty, mushroomy rind. The smooth, silky golden paste will often ooze out over a delicate, fresh and citrussy centre. You will find long-lasting flavours of warm earth, farmyard and mushrooms, with occasional notes of citrus and truffle. Colston Bassett Stilton PDO
Weight: 200g.
Regarded as one of the best traditionally made, naturally crusted Stiltons in the country, this cheese is mature, with good blueing and rich, deep, herbaceous flavours that linger on the palate. Gorwydd Caerphilly
Weight: 200g.
Gorwydd Caerphilly is made following a traditional recipe and working the curds by hand, the cheeses are usually matured for a minimum of three to four months (which is longer than most caerphillys') to give a wonderfully deep flavour that is yet still fresh and clean tasting with slight citrus notes, combined with a surprisingly creamy, moist texture. This excellent cheese has deservedly won a number of prestigious cheese awards. Wild & Fruitful Apricot & Roasted Walnut Chutney

A chutney with almost as much personality as it has flavour! Expect notes of sweet apricots, lightly roasted walnuts, and a subtle blend of carefully balanced spices, all layered together to create an impeccable pairing for almost any cheese. Local Fourseed Sourdough Crackers
Weight: 100g.
Fourseed Sourdough Crackers are unique crackers made by a local bakery. Made from the starter used for their fresh sourdough loaves, creating toasty, crunchy, robust crackers. The result is deliciously moreish with a nutty flavour and the addition of toasted seeds. These are perfect with most cheeses and ideal for dipping in softer cheeses like Delice de Bourgogne or baked Tunworth. How should I store my cheese once it arrives?
Cheese is best kept in the fridge wrapped in the waxed paper or packaging it arrives in. Avoid plastic wrap, as cheese needs to breathe.
How long will my cheese last?
Most cheeses will last 1-2 weeks if stored properly. Harder cheeses tend to last longer than soft cheeses.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes, we deliver throughout the UK mainland. Some remote areas may have longer delivery times.
When will my cheese order arrive?
Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same day for next-day delivery. We deliver Tuesday to Friday.
Is your cheese pasteurised?
We stock both pasteurised and unpasteurised cheeses. Each product page clearly states whether the cheese is pasteurised.
Do you offer subscriptions or cheese boxes?

Can I visit your shop and café?
Absolutely! Our shop and café is located at 1 St Martin's Lane, Lincoln. We're open Monday to Saturday.
