After many happy years as a café, we have decided it's time for a fresh new era. Our space will be transformed into a gourmet bakery and sandwich takeaway, opening on Wednesday, 8th October.

Whilst our sit-down café will close on Saturday, 27th September 2025, our much-loved specialist cheese counter will remain, along with our wide range of delicious accompaniments. From our reopening, you will find a brand-new counter filled with fresh, homemade seasonal sandwiches, toasties, pastries and cakes, all made using the wonderful bread from Grain of Truth — alongside an expanded range of their breads and pastries too. Expect plenty of cheese-inspired creations, with seasonal twists and gourmet flavours, plus coffee, tea and cold drinks to take away.

We know this change may feel somewhat bittersweet, but we're so excited to continue sharing our passion for great cheese and great produce in this new way. Serving lunch to the people of Lincoln has been a privilege, and whilst the format is changing, our commitment to quality and friendly service will never alter.

And yes — our famous Double Baked Cheese Soufflé will still be available, ready for you to take home and bake!
