Every order is cut and packed by hand, fresh to order by our team of cheesemongers.

Your cheese is wrapped in breathable waxed paper, which allows it to breathe while helping to protect it during transit and in your fridge. It is then placed inside a thermal foil pouch with a frozen gel pack to keep it cool on its journey. The gel pack will naturally defrost during transit; this is completely normal.

Finally, everything is carefully packed into a branded box to keep your order safe and presentable when it arrives.

This sweet chilli jam is delicious with strong cheddars and stiltons. Delicious in a toastie!

Add a sweet and spicy twist to a classic party favourite with Fireflame Chilli Jam and Mature Cheddar Cheese Straws. Simply roll out ready-made puff pastry, spread a thin layer of Single Variety’s Fireflame Chilli Jam over the surface, then sprinkle generously with grated mature Cheddar. Fold the pastry in half, gently roll to seal, cut into thin strips and twist each one before brushing with beaten egg and baking at 200°C (180°C fan) for around 12–15 minutes, until golden, crisp and deliciously cheesy.

The rich, nutty flavour of mature Cheddar pairs beautifully with the chilli jam’s sweet heat, creating an irresistible balance of savoury, spicy and buttery flavours.
