The Stilton made by Tuxford & Tebbutt is one of the best remaining Stilton currently being produced. The cheese is soft and crumbly with a creamy consistency. The cheese is mellow in both flavour and texture, a truly delicious cheese.
Smoked Tuxford & Tebbutt Stilton is made using their classic Stilton recipe, a Stilton that has been made in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire since 1780. Smoked in Preston, Lancashire; the Stilton is cut into sections to allow the smoking process to penetrate the cheese thoroughly producing an interesting combination of flavours. The result is an oaky, mellow smoky finish which works brilliantly with the creamy strength of the stilton.
