The Cahill family make their famous Plain Porter on the family farm keeping to traditional methods. Cahills Farmhouse Cheese is a third-generation, family-owned, artisan cheese-making business, nestled in the heartland of County Limerick, Ireland.

This brown-waxed gourmet cheese truckle is the original and definitive Irish Plain Porter Cheese.

Each brown waxed truckle is individually handcrafted with plain Irish porter, brewed by Guinness in their Dublin premises since 1759. This cheese is perfect as an hors d’oeuvre when sliced and served with a tossed salad or served as a centrepiece on an after-dinner cheese board to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

A whole Truckle of Cahills Porter weighs approximately 2.3 kg.
